Frontier Brass Band

The Frontier Brass Band was founded in 2014 and is draws its members from the Oklahoma City metropolitan area including brass faculty from the local universities as well as freelance musicians, area band directors and community members. The musicians of FBB have performed with professional orchestras, touring Broadway shows, and jazz bands in addition to recording on Grammy-nominated and Grammy Award-winning albums.

FBB is committed to celebrating the unique British brass band genre and takes a leading role in the community to help raise arts awareness. Frontier presents four eclectic concerts each season performing a wide range of styles and genres and has collaborated with artists such as Vince DiMartino, Wiff Rudd, Ashleigh Hall, David Childs, Brian Bowman and more.

 

The band has performed three times at the International William Adam Trumpet Festival as well as performances for the Oklahoma Music Educators Conference, Oklahoma Bandmaster’s Association Summer Conference, and regional International Trumpet Guild and International Tuba Euphonium Conferences.
